I’m sure by now you’re tiring of this formula, but really since I’m the only one reading this stuff (lololol) it doesn’t matter. =D
So what the above video is appears to be some fanmade opening videos for F/SN, and they’re so well made that they’re bloody convincing as well. XD
I hope you enjoy them, because I certainly did.
This. Game. Looks. Beautiful.
If there is never a console version, and it never comes to England, I will go to Japan and steal an arcade machine. The game is THAT BEAUTIFUL. It’s like…a fully playable fangasm. And furthermore, it actually looks like a great game in its own right - which just makes me wanna take it to my bedroom and do durdy things to it play it even more.
I will die if I never get a chance to play this. Seriously.
This video is amazing - not only is it the first opening in nearly perfect quality, it also continues after the opening finishes to play the full opening song, which I find to be a really great song. The song plays on the words “This Illusion”, the name of the original intro in the the game.
Now, I have to explain one thing right now. I love Fate/Stay Night and anything related to it. TYPE-MOON is one of my favourite studios, in fact.
I’ve even been dubbed a Saber fetishist because of how much I love Saber (A main character in F/SN) but in fact, there’s hardly a character in F/SN I don’t like. XD
Anyway, just thought I’d post this as a sign of what’s to come. I like anime openings so if I find interesting ones, I’ll post them up - otherwise, I’ll probably be talking about anime or something else random. XD
Ah, just a little note here, not everything I do will have a video to it (even though everything has so far!), but I will try to keep posts visually interesting! XD
This song is rather beautiful I think. The video’s very pretty too, so I put the ending theme up top there.
Ah, does make you imagine clouds….or it does me, anyway. XD
Hum…Ah yes, not sure about the title, but I’m assuming it’s the right name for the song? If not, ah well…haha. It’s out there somewhere. XD
Hmm, I want a screenshot from the video though, so I can vector it. >=3
Just a quick one, since I had already posted the opening too - I’ll seeya next time.
So the past few days, I’ve found myself somehow compelled to play classic NES games and watch anime. Despite being a big anime fan, it’s odd for me to actually watch anime. That’s probably because I don’t have the patience for the loading times, since I watch it online - mostly cos the anime in England is either crappy (poorly dubbed Naruto for the lose) or so far ahead I can’t catch up (Decently dubbed Bleach at around say, 100+ episodes in). So I end up watching it online, cos I can watch at my pace, and what I want (so long as the video works, anyway.)
So, my anime of choice was Scrapped Princess, and as you can see I’ve kindly plopped the opening song at the top of this post. It’s a story about a princess who was thrown out because a prophecy said that when she turned 16, she’d bring death to the world, basically. However, she didn’t die - and she’s now 15 years old, and travelling with her adopted older sister and brother, Raquel and Shannon. So, Pacifica, the princess, is now being chased by the royal army and anyone who believes the prophecy - which is just about anyone of the Mauser faith….By the way, interestingly, a lot of the names in this series are references to firearms! Haha, it’s quite interesting.
Ok, back to the plot though, well - enter characters like Chris, Leo, and Winia and you have yourself a few questions. “What is chivalry, and justice?”, “Am I doing the right thing?” “Is it wrong to be friends with her?”. Even Shannon asks himself is he’s doing the right thing, and it can get quite powerful at times. Characters all have their own personalities and by the end of it, you can predict how people are going to behave.
The plot becomes more interesting however, when the sci-fi part of this sci-fi fantasy kicks in. Because by sci-fi, we’re talking DBZ/Gundam/Super giant dragon creatures, and…well it’s pretty flashy. Very fun to watch, and a shame that in the 24 (I think it was that many, if not 25) episodes there was only a little of it. However, once that first dragon-filled action scene comes in, things become more confusing, but still engaging.
Anyway, the ending was satisfying and the plot twists kept me going until the next sexy-action scene came in. The characters felt as if they weren’t all mindless stereotypes, but actually had a human side to them, particularly in the questions they asked - a the key umbrella issue though seems to be “Is what I’m doing right?”
Overall, I really did enjoy it and I’d recommend it. It was a lot of fun to watch, and it’s only short (around 25 episodes) so it won’t eat up too much time.
And that’s that! I’m tired of writing about this now. XD
Seeya next time I get bored and come here. =)
Haha, oh how long it’s been since I last watched this!
This is essentially a flash animation/gadget/thing featuring animated versions of some of the most famous attacks in the JoJo universe.
Ah how I love JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. X3
Anyway, the first 3 are from series 5, the sound is from the PS2 game JoJo no Kimyouna Bouken (sp?): Golden Wind, and the last 2 are the 2 most famous characters, from the most famous series, series 3, which use sound from the most famous game on the PSX/DC/Arcades. Haha.
Just thought I’d post this cos I’ve got nothing much better to do, sat up here in my room all bored and such. XD
Well, enjoy. The original flash can be found here: clicky!
Ok, so this guy has put a video on Youtube showing how to finish Resi on the GC in under 6 mins, using an Action Replay. It’s quite fascinating, since to finish the game you only need to kill one enemy - and it just shows that the only thing that makes the game longer is all the stuff you do to get the 3 or 4 items you need to open up those last paths.
Of course, typical of Youtube, in blows a shit storm: “why u cheat cock suker fag” and “what crap song is this?” (It’s One by Metallica, btw - far from a crap song, I must say.), without realising that he’s said it’s purely to show that the game’s actually pretty short - it’s a relatively straightforward path if you watch.
I enjoyed it, myself. I’m one of these people who doesn’t object to cheating in the interest of learning more about the game. Of course, I appreciate the games without cheats first, and then use cheats to explore new possibilities and have some fun with the game! But no, of course, Youtube’s full of jackasses who don’t seem to have an open enough mind to see that this is just showing something interesting. Ever heard of “if you’ve got nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all?” - well this rule went waaaaay out the window with Youtube.
