I thought I’d kick things off by sharing something I found really quite impressive. Above is a video showing possibly one of the best done cosplays I’ve seen. Now you could say it’s bias because of my love of Ouendan 2, but I’m serious – I’ve seen some good cosplay, and I’ve seen some bad, and as this goes this is bloody good. As you can see, the whole routine’s been meticulously planned, the audio’s been carefully edited and well, the whole thing is just such a great performance that I was left grinning. To gather such a group and practice the routine, make the costumes (and so accurately, too!) and then perform before an audience (that actually seem to really know what’s going on – thrust EBA cosplay into Europe and you’ll get a fair few blank faces), well the whole thing shows the real spirit of the fans. It’s just bloody impressive.
